Meet requirements specified for structural steel for erecting items of <br />structural nature or use. <br />F. Do not field splice fabricated items unless said items exceed standard <br />shipping length or change of direction requires splicing. Do not use <br />mechanical splicing by means of wedges without full welding. <br />G. Provide each fabricated item complete with attachment devices as indicated <br />or as required to install. <br />7. SCHEDULE <br />The following is a general listing of items furnished under this section. <br />Contractor verify completeness. Supply items as required to complete <br />construction and installation. <br />A. Anchorage Accessories: Generally, this includes anchorage items required <br />to secure wood to wood, wood to steel, wood to masonry or concrete, steel <br />to masonry or concrete, steel to steel, or steel to other metals or <br />miscellaneous flashing as indicated, herein specified, or required. <br />B. Loose Lintels and Miscellaneous Structural Items: Fabricate of A-36 steel <br />sized as indicated. Make connections indicated. Comply with requirements <br />of AISC specifications. Prime paint lintels in exterior walls. Prime <br />paint lintels in interior with alkali resistant paint. <br />1. Brick ledge angles <br />2. Lintels at doors and windows <br />3. Lintels at mechanical openings <br />4. Structural lintels and beams shown. <br />C. Elevator Pit Ladder: Fabricate vertical access ladder open type <br />construction to elevator pit as in compliance with OSHA requirements with <br />structural 2-1/2" x 3/8" bar steel rails and 3/4" round steel rungs welded <br />to rails. Wall brackets to be 2-1/2" x 3/8" bar rails. Provide hole in <br />3" leg for bolting to masonry wall maximum vertical spacing of 48" o.c. <br />Anchor as indicated. Ladder overall height is 8'-0" high x 1'-6" wide and <br />projecting from wall 6". <br />D. Counter Supports: Fabricate counter supports from 2" x 2" x 5/16" angles <br />and 2" x 1/8" bar stock to shape shown on drawings. Secure to counter and <br />wall with 3/8" x 3-1/2" machine bolts. <br />E. Stairway Handrail Bracket: One piece mallable iron wall bracket equal to <br />Akron #23. Provide maximum spacing at 64" o.c. <br />F. Sill plate anchorage to precast plank: Hilti Kwik Bolt 1/2" dia. <br />expansion type bolt 1/2" unless otherwise noted.
