1®
Mr. Howard Dalhgren
April 17, 1985
Page Three
4. Protection of Water Quality.
0
The proposed Burger King restaurant provides drainage and
erosion control measures consistent with the City of Rose-
ville and The Rice Creek Watershed District.
5. Control of Litter, Noise, and Odor.
Burger King has formulated a written litter control policy
that requires designated employees to pick up litter on the
site two to three times each day. In addition, as described
throughout this letter, trash collection will be enclosed
within a screened building.
The proposed Burger King Restaurant will include a drive
through order station equipped with a 3M sound system which
includes an automatic volume limiter for outgoing conversation
and custom switches to reduce decibels.
The proposed Burger King Restaurant will include a custom -
design ventroguard exhaust hood and ventilation system.
This equipment extracts almost all of the grease particles
generated by the cooking process and ensures that clean
air is exhausted, thereby minimizing odor.
6. Signage & Lighting.
As shown in the sign materials submitted, the proposed
Burger King Restaurant will include two free-standing Pylon
signs, a wall mounted sign, and a roof mounted sign. Light-
ing fixtures will be high pressure sodium and will be shielded
and directed downward.
If you have any questions concerning this written narrative
report or the submitted application, please feel free to
call me.
Sincerely,
BURGER G CORPO ON
ke N r str m
Site Development Engineer
rdN : mh
