As you know, there has been a <br />significant delay since the time of preliminary plat approval due <br />to the need to obtain certain land along the highway boundary <br />from the Minnesota Department of Transportation. After extended <br />discussions and negotiations with the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation, the land was finally obtained earlier this year. <br />Subsequently, there was an additional delay while we were <br />awaiting the title work that had to be done by Title Insurance <br />Company of Minnesota to check the status of the land within the <br />plat. We have just received, as of this week, Minnesota Title's <br />updated title report. <br />John Barnes of Sunde Land Surveying will now be <br />preparing the final plat on the basis of the updated title <br />report. A paper print of the final plat must then be sent to the <br />Ramsey County Surveyor for checking by the Ramsey County <br />Surveyor. John tells me that the document should be sent sometime <br />next week. He will simultaneously send copies to the City <br />Engineer, Woodbridge Properties, Title Insurance Company of <br />Minnesota, and Dorsey & Whitney. <br />
