PLANNING REPORT <br />DATE: <br />CASE NUMBER: <br />APPLICANT: <br />LOCATION: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS: <br />1 July 1987 <br />1776 <br />Centre Pointe Investment <br />Company Limited Partnership <br />Between 35W and Cleveland <br />Avenue, South of County <br />Road D to County Road C <br />Interchange (see sketch) <br />Vacation of Right -of -Way and <br />Approval of Preliminary Plat <br />1. The staff has reviewed and approved the comprehensive redevelopment <br />plan for the area in question which included a Planned Unit <br />Development, removal of all existing structures, and the development. of <br />a new circulation system and infrastructure into the area. <br />Implementation of this development included the completion of a <br />development agreement relating to a significant tax .increment program <br />which has now been consummated between the City and the Woodbridge <br />people. The next step is the implementation of a plat preceded by the <br />vacation of certain right-of-ways and easements, the retention of some <br />easements, and the adoption of additional easements. <br />2. The documentation for this rather complicated process has been <br />completed and carefully reviewed by the City Engineering staff. Mr. <br />Janisch informs us that the schedule is: of easements to be vacated, <br />easements to be retained, new easements and right-of-ways to be <br />dedicated are all in order. Mr. Janisch will elaborate further on the <br />details of this proposal at the Planning Commission Hearing. <br />3. Attached is a reduced copy of the right-of-way as it relates to the <br />development plan and a copy of the preliminary plat proposal. <br />4. The action requested is: <br />a) Approval <br />of a preliminary plat for Centre Pointe Business Park <br />Limited <br />Partnership, Northwestern <br />National Life <br />Insurance <br />Company, <br />Title Insurance <br />Company of Minnesota dated <br />May <br />29, <br />1987, and <br />as prepared by <br />the Sunde Land Surveying, Inc. <br />b) Approval <br />of vacation of <br />street right-of-ways as dated <br />June <br />1, <br />1987 and <br />on file with the <br />City of Roseville. <br />c) Vacation <br />of easements as <br />dated and on file <br />with <br />the <br />.City of <br />Roseville (this <br />document has no date, but <br />may <br />be <br />identified <br />with a date by <br />the Planning Commission Secretary). <br />There is also a list of easements to be retained which would appear to <br />require no action, though their presence may be appropriately identified. <br />
