Concordia Academy <br />Page Two _ <br />The three story buildings have been placed on the southern portion of the <br />site as a buffer to the traffic on Highway 36. The Vietnamese church to the <br />east, having no windows facing the west, should not be negatively affected by <br />the larger buildings. The parking lot for the church istheonly' other area <br />to the east being affected by the proposed apartments. To `the west of the <br />apartments is another church, whose distance from the apartments is great <br />enough to make the impact of the apartments negligible. <br />The three story buildings will feature decks, bay windows, underground <br />parking, brick and cedar exterior and an outdoor pool. Other amenities <br />include a whirlpool, sauna, community room, exercise rooms and large;, <br />spacious units. Rents will begin at $600 for one bedroom apartments, $700 <br />for two bedroom apartments and $820 fc: three bedroom apartment homes.- <br />to <br />a <br />This development scenario will. allow the addition of new quality housing <br />stock to Roseville which has had -a limited amount of new housing in recent <br />z <br />years. It allows the City to take title to a building to use as a Community <br />t <br />Center, without the existing city residents taking on additional tax <br />,any <br />liability. It benefits Concordia Academy which has been a long time resident <br />of the City. It allows the Roseville School District to liquidate assets and <br />appropriate these funds in a manner which they deem more desirable. <br />The development makes sense and provides benefit to so many. It has become <br />the desire of these individuals and groups as well as Brutger Companies, Inc. <br />to see this development come to fruition. <br />I <br />
