b. Proposed Reuse of Land <br />It is proposed that a portion of the property identified in <br />Section C of the Development Plan will be acquired for the <br />construction of a 130 unit elderly housing development. The <br />6.42 acre site is capable of accomodating 140,000 square feet <br />of on -site development. This would encompass all facilities <br />that could be anticipated in the development of a 130 unit <br />elderly housing facility. <br />G. Administration and Maintenance of District <br />Maintenance and operation of the public improvements in the municipal <br />development district will be the responsibility of the development district <br />administration of the City. Each year the administrator of the municipal <br />development district will submit to the City Council the maintenance and <br />operation budget for the following year to be charged to the property in the <br />district. The City Council will certify the assessments to the County <br />Auditor for collection. The City Council will levy these assessments, if any, <br />in accordance with the procedures established in Minnesota Statutes, <br />Section 429.061. <br />The municipal development district administrator will administer the <br />municipal development district pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />472A.10 of the Minnesota Statutes provided, however, that such powers may <br />only be exercise-J at —the rei etro of the City Council. No action taken by <br />the administrator of the development district pursuant to the above - <br />mentioned powers shall be effective without authorization by the City <br />Council. <br />4 <br />
