1]
April 2, 1984
Mr. James Andre
City Manager, Roseville
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Dear Mr. Andre,
•
I object to Mrs. Pat Johnson, a member of the Roseville Planning Commission,
voting on the zoning change and the Proposed Housing Alliance project for the
property situated on County Rd. B between Dale Street and Cohansey Blvd.
Mrs. Johnson's husband works for McGough Construction which is participating
in the proposed project.
She, as Mr. Johnson's wife, Mr. Johnson himself, and McGough Construction all
stand to gain should this project be approved. Any vote of approval on her part
could be construed as promoting self -gain, and ethically should not be allowed.
I raised this question in the planning commission meeting in March. She
refused to disqualify herself. Mr. Ruk,avina said ii' I had a problem with that
to file a formal complaint with you. My husband and 1, and other neighbors
feel. her actions cast obvious doubt (+i tier qualification to vote. Thank you
for your time and consideration. 1 would appreciate a response from you about
this matter at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Marian A. Fry Mar Y
7-
2135 Cohansey Blvd.
ttosc:ville, t'iN 55113
488-0050 11.
827-5341 W.
copies: Mayor June Demo, - ;l,
Chairman of the Roseville Hanning Commission - 1.
