1 <br />used by various industrial and commercial vehicles. <br />These roads are all capable of bearing loads of at <br />:least. 18,000 pounds per axle at designated speeds for <br />the roadways. As a result, roads utilized to bring <br />wastes to the Facility will be capable of bearing the <br />weight of the fully -loaded transport vehicles. <br />' <br />2.32. Access Placement and Construction. There will be <br />one access to the Facility which will abut the south <br />side of Rose Place. This access will be 26 feet in <br />width and will be a paved surface capable of carrying a <br />maximum road weight limit of 80,000 pounds. The access <br />roadway on the site will be sloped and curbed for <br />purposes of stormwater drainage and contingent spill <br />containment. <br />2.40 Topographic and Land Use Description. <br />2.41 Surface Waters/Flood lain. Attachment 1 depicts <br />surface water features in the vicinity of the site. <br />The site lies generally at an elevation of 950' MSL, <br />and is located more than five miles from the nearest <br />floodplain. The closest surface water to the site is <br />Langton Lake which is located to the northwest <br />approximately 1.25 miles away. The site will be served <br />by the City's storm water drainage sysLera. <br />2.42 Wells. Properties within the southwest area of <br />Roseville in which the site is located are generally <br />served by the City-wide public water system. As a <br />result, few private wells are located in the vicinity <br />of the site. Private wells are located at the4Old <br />Dutch food plant located approximately 700 feet <br />southeast of the site and at the Boise Cascade plant <br />800 feet to the south. Both are currently used. The <br />location of these wells is depicted on Attachment 1. <br />The Old Dutch well is a deep, heavy-duty industrial <br />well used for processing water. <br />2.43 Wind. Prevailing wind directions at the site are <br />indicated on Figure 3. Predominant winds come from the <br />northwest in the winter and from the southeast in the <br />summer. <br />2.44 Surrounding Land Use. The Facility site is <br />located in an industrial area within the City, <br />indicated on Attachment 1. Surrounding land uses <br />include: warehousing, solvent storage and sales, <br />corrugated box manufacture, potato chip manufacture, <br />and parts supply and trucking, see Figure 3. The site <br />is separated from nonindustrially zoned areas on the <br />east and south by Interstate highway 35W.
