ENTRANCES TO ROSEDALE MARKETPLACE Access From -County Road B2 This entrance will provide access to and from North Fairview Avenue, County Road 82, and North Snelling Avenue (see Figure 2). There were several items to consider in the design of this entrance. It must be able to handle the large numbers of exiting right -turning vehicles and entering left -turning vehicles. The entrance must also provide adequate storage for queues of left - turning vehicles exiting the site which will build up while allowing vehicles to move from the customer parking area to the one-way service drive to the west of the entrance. The recommended design of this entrance provides an exclusive Jane for both left and right -turning vehicles (see Figure 2). This will provide adequate storage of queueing vehicles and allow access to the one way service drive. The design also provides adequate turning radii for internal circulation and for right - turning vehicles leaving the site. The recommended traffic control at this'entrance is a stop sign controlling the exiting vehicles. Vehicles turning left to go west on County Road B2 should experience moderate but manageable delay (see Table 1). The average queue in the left lane is not expected to exceed three vehicles and should cause few operational problems at the entrance.
