ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION Page# 3
Wednesday, February 1, 1989
Moeller asked what kind of rooftop screening would be provided at
the restaurant. Brown responded that they would be screened
using the same material as the building.
DeBenedet asked where sidewalks would be. Brown replied that
sidewalks would be along B--2 and along Fairview from property
line to property line.
DeBenedet inquired about the sediment control. Keel highlighted
the sediment control measures which would be taken.
DeBenedet expressed concern about what would happen if Rosedale:
did not relocate the entrance as anticipated in the plan.
DeBenedet stated that this was a major question that should be
resolved. Brown responded that the current design is the desire
of all and it is there intent to do it. They have shown what
they were requested to by staff. If the relocation doesn't occur
they would still proceed with the development and construct a
simpler right in right out entrance at that location.
.Johnson asked if their construction would occur before the
entrance chango would occur. Brawn responded yes.
Dahlgren testified that the traffic consultants for Rosedale,
Rosedale Marketplace Associates and the City believe that the
proposal as the best solution and there would be easy adjustments
which could be made if it doesn't occur. Dahlgren pointed out
that everybody is going nor the boot solution and if it did not
occur, the dove l ope r seou l d have to comp back for approval or' the
change.
George Be tron core(-ut=t°ed thou_ Bosodalo -r, workinq to relocate its
rent ranco an sho-b n but ttlAt hen not been finalized yet.
Johnson stated that gho was pleasoti with the change to the
entrance t1lat tho davcloper has made.
Bonedet stated hip concorn with long torm maintenance of
landscaping.
