The cur -rent R-6 zoning restricts the number of units to 43+ units. This does <br />no <br />t make it economically feasible to continue with the project. It is in the <br />best interest of the City to see this site developed now so that the opportunity <br />of combining the two parcels is not lost. <br />A sixty (60) unit apartment complex along with a small office building will <br />make the project economically feasible for us and -All significantly increase <br />the tax basis of this site. <br />The City Staff has explained to us the background of this site as it related <br />to the current land use and zoning. However, we sincerely believe the highest <br />and best use for this site is High Density Residential (apartments) and Business <br />(office building). <br />We respectfully request the City approve this request and schedule the requixed <br />public hearings as soon as possible so that the Corrmrehensive Tand Use Plan may be <br />changed. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />Yresictent <br />MGH:mlw <br />Enclosures <br />
