Provide recommended foundation types and depths, allowable soil <br />pressures and estimates of settlement. <br />2. Provide recommendations for site preparation for support of founda- <br />tions and slabs -on -grade. <br />3. Provide recommendations for bituminous pavement. <br />Our work program for accomplishment of the above objectives included eleven <br />addition:.l soil test borings, a few laboratory tests, review of the previous <br />borings and observation of the recovered soil samples. <br />The purpose of this report is to describe our field operations, to present <br />the results of our field and laboratory tests and to provide you with our <br />engineering recommendations. <br />EXPLORATION PROGRAM RESULTS <br />Site Conditions <br />The site is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Fairview <br />Avenue North and County Road 9-2. The south portion of the site is presently <br />occupied by single family dwellings. The majority of the proposed building <br />area will be north and east of the previously developed area. The present <br />ground surface slopes down from the west to the east. Surface elevations <br />at the boring locations vary from 921.5' to 970.9'. <br />SOIL exPLC71i abon <br />
