Traditional Restaurant and/or Cafeteria: 12 spaces per one <br />thousand (1 .000) sq. ft. of gross f I oor area or 1 space per 2.8 seats, <br />whichever is greater. <br />10. Fast Food and/or Drive -In Restaurant: 1 space per 15 sq. ft. of <br />gross floor area. <br />11. Motor Fuel Station and Motor Fuel Station Convenience Store: 4 <br />spaces plus 3 spaces for each enclosed service stall, plus one space per <br />150 sq. ft. of floor space devoted to retail sales In a motor fuel <br />station convenience store. <br />12. Industrial Uses, Including fabrication and/or processing of a <br />product or material: 4 spaces per principal use plus 1 additional space <br />per 800 sq. ft. of gross bu I I d i ng area, pl us 1 space per 2,500 sq. ft. <br />of land devoted to outside storage or 1 space per employee on the <br />maximum design shift, whichever Is greater. <br />13. Warehouse, Storage, and Handling of bulk goods as a principal <br />use or Accessory use: 1 space per 2,000 sq. ft. of grossf I oor area. <br />14. Schools, Grade school and/or Junior High: 1.25 spaces per <br />classroom High School and/or college; 1 space per classroom plus 1 space <br />for each 7 students. <br />15. Day Care Center: Four spaces per pr i nc i pa I use, p i us 1 space <br />for each 500 sq. ft. i n excess of 1 ,000 sq. ft. of gross f I oor area. <br />16. Churches: 1 space per 3.5 seats based on the design capacity of <br />the main assembly hall. <br />17. Nursing Homes: 1 space per each four beds. <br />Where land uses are proposed that are not specifically listed, <br />above, before any permits shall be issued relating to such use, the City <br />Council shall establish a reasonable number of off-street parking spaces <br />for such use. <br />8.090. Surf.' c I ng of Park i ng Areas: Off-street parking areas shai I <br />be surfaced with asphalt or concrete, and with permanent concrete curbs <br />to define driveways and parking limits. Plans and specifications for <br />parking areas shall be filed with the Inspection Superintendent and <br />approved by him prior to construction. <br />8.095. Van Pooling Programs. Where a van pooling program exists for <br />employees of a user of property In a business district and such program <br />reduces the need for parking spaces, the number of parking spaces not <br />needed because of such program may be reduced from the requirements of <br />
