TCC Center Companies, Case No. 1937 Page 5
along the walkway leading the Carson Pirie Scott: entrances are
being considered. We are informed by the applicants that as of
this time, there is no specific agreement or solution agreed upon.
Similar concerns have been reviewed and solved at Southdale,
resulting in the keeping of these functions at Southdale. Though
the exact details of how these facilities will be accomplished can
be worked out, it is important to establish 'the criteria that the
functions will occur at Rosedale. It is all the more important
now that four additional routes have been added to the local
mass transit system in the Ros7-ille area. These buses augment
and enhance the capability of persons to go to and from the
center for both shopping and transfer purposes. Thus, it is
important that this will be agreed upon as a part of an overall
development and expansion approval for the center.
4. Summary
In summary, it appears that the basic concept for expansion and
improvement for the center are sound. There remains th^ review of
specific conditions to be detailed that could include:
a)
Engineering and
utility plans and specifications;
b)
Final plans for
grading and landscaping;
c)
Use of building
materials and signage;
d)
Handling of trash
receptacles and screening;
e)
Interim traffic
management and control;
f)
Maintenance of
interim drainage facilities;
g)
Dedication of additional right-of-way if any; and
h)
Delineation and
construction of pathway system.
