Page 2
February 24, 1989
Minor Variance Committee
City of Roseville
West Driveway, Cont.
4) I would have to remove my existing garage and also a 40
foot high Ash tree in order to build a two car garage in
the rear of my house so as to provide garage parking for
two cars. The new garage would have to be located further
back in the yard to provide access and egress for both the
stalls of the garage.
East Driveway
1) Reconstructing the driveway entrance three feet to the
west and leaving the remaing driveway as it is will result
in two curves to negotiate while backing out of the
driveway.
2) To reconstruct the driveway entrance and the driveway so
that the edge is at least five feet from the property line
would result in a driveway width between eight and nine
feet next to my house. This width gets even narrower when
backing up from the garage which is curved away from the
property line.
Because of these hardships, I respectfully request that the
City of Roseville grant me a Minor Variance to rebuild the
driveway on the West side of my property and the driveway
entrance on the east side of my property at their present
locations when the City rebuilds Ruggles Street.
Sinceily,
David H. Pederson
1018 Ruggles
