/QZ z <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 5-8--89 <br />ITEM NO.: 0, -f <br />Department Approval: Manage:- Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Hearing <br />Item Description: Welsh Company request for the vacation of <br />portions of Fry Street, Brooks Avenue and <br />Bruce Averue as necessary to permit the <br />expansion of Pavilion Place Shopping Center at <br />1665 County Road B-2. <br />The Roseville City Council approved Welsh Company's request for a <br />comprehensive plan change, rezoning, special use permit, variance <br />and preliminary plat at 1665 County Road B-2 at its March 27, 1989 <br />meeting. The public hearing concerning the vacation of portions of <br />Fry Street, Brookr Avenue and Bruce Avenue, which are necessary to <br />implement the approved plun, has bees. scheduled for May 8, 1989. <br />Attached is the resolution necessary to vacate the streets. If the <br />City Council approves the resolution, staff will not file it with <br />Ramsey County until such time as the developer has found the major <br />anchor tenants necessary for the project to move forward. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to approve:/deny the resolutions <br />approving the vacation of portions of Fry <br />Street, Brooks Avenue and Bruce Avenue as <br />required to allow the expansion of <br />Pavilion Place Shopping Center at 1665 <br />Country Road B-2. <br />
