According to City ordinances on special use permit and
variance approval, the approvals expire in 6 months unless the use
has been instituted on the site or a building permit has been
obtained and construction is underway. The Welsh Company has requested that. the City
Council grant a 6 month extension on these approvals to allow them
to work out final agreements with potential anchor tenants and to
develop final plans necessary to obtain building permits. The
appropriate letters from Welsh are attached.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to approve/deny Welsh Company's
request for a 6 month extension on the
Cil-y approvals granted March 27, 1989 for
the expansion of Pavilion Place at 1665
County Road B-2.
