Recap of Construction <br />ATTACHMENT No. 2 <br />Page Three <br />July 7, 1988 <br />The attorney contacted Mr. Larson <br />who advised him that he would not <br />sign the letter and that he was <br />concerned his property had been de— <br />valued. The attorney then forwarded <br />a letter to Mr. Larson stating he <br />would pay him $200 each for two <br />appraisals and $100 towards attorney's <br />fee for him to consult his own attorney.' <br />The attorney forwarded this letter to <br />Mr. Larson approximately July 20th. <br />Approximately one week later he <br />contacted Mr. Larson again by phone <br />and was told this was not acceptable <br />and he had no desire to speak with <br />him any longer. <br />At this point, my attorney consulted <br />with the City Officials, including; <br />the City Attorney and he was advised <br />that I had no choice but to file <br />for a full variance, which my was <br />legal right as per the City Ordinance. <br />The papers were prepared, the plans <br />drawn and the application was filed <br />and given to Mr. Richard Jopke on <br />August 30, 1988. <br />
