July 1, 1988 <br />Gentlemen: <br />` <br />Subject: Cost Estimate <br />Warehouse Expansion <br />Roseville; Minnesota " <br />It is our intent to undertake construction <br />of an approximately 40,000 sq. <br />ft. warehouse expansion, including restructuring <br />and remodeling in the <br />office area, at our Minneapolis distribution <br />facility. Before going into <br />final, detailed engineering however, it is <br />important that we get a reason- <br />ably accurate estimate of the probable cost <br />of its construction. We invite - <br />you to submit your estimate of its total <br />building cost, on a turn -key <br />basis, to include all of the following. <br />1. Final design and engineering <br />2. Permits and fees <br />3. Site preparation <br />4. Building construction <br />5. Paving <br />6. Landscaping <br />1 4-t' base <br />all our data on a functional <br />In deve ooing your cos pre o�c ions, y <br />dock high, masonry and metal clad warehouse -type building of pre- <br />engineered steel, utilizing the normal construction standards and tech- <br />iques typical of the Minneapolis area. There will be no complex or <br />sophisticated electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating or air condition- <br />ing systems other than their conformance with federal, state and local <br />zoning ordinances, covenants and building codes. <br />The overall building addition should be planned at approximately 280'X <br />143' for a total perimeter area of about 40,000 sq. ft. The clear ceiling <br />height under the eaves will be the same as our current facility. There <br />will be a total of four additional truck docks with levelers and shelters <br />in the existing truck dock area, plus one scavenger dock in the new <br />warehouse addition. <br />
