July 1, 1988
Gentlemen:
`
Subject: Cost Estimate
Warehouse Expansion
Roseville; Minnesota "
It is our intent to undertake construction
of an approximately 40,000 sq.
ft. warehouse expansion, including restructuring
and remodeling in the
office area, at our Minneapolis distribution
facility. Before going into
final, detailed engineering however, it is
important that we get a reason-
ably accurate estimate of the probable cost
of its construction. We invite -
you to submit your estimate of its total
building cost, on a turn -key
basis, to include all of the following.
1. Final design and engineering
2. Permits and fees
3. Site preparation
4. Building construction
5. Paving
6. There will be no complex or
sophisticated electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating or air condition-
ing systems other than their conformance with federal, state and local
zoning ordinances, covenants and building codes.
The overall building addition should be planned at approximately 280'X
143' for a total perimeter area of about 40,000 sq. ft. The clear ceiling
height under the eaves will be the same as our current facility. There
will be a total of four additional truck docks with levelers and shelters
in the existing truck dock area, plus one scavenger dock in the new
warehouse addition.
