THE PLAYGROUND 0 Ridge Square North PARENTS' POLICIES Hours: Mon.- Thur. gam - 10pm $2.75 per hour - Sat. & Fri. gam - llpm 1.75 per hour - Sunday 12pm - 8pm Child from Same Nine Hour Maximum - One Hour Minimum No Appointments Ages 2 to 10 years old First Child Each Additional Family PLAYGROUND Playground is a drop in child care center for those times when parents need a reliable sitter service that's always there from early morning to late evening, seven days a week. We can provide you with electronic beepers, so that you can be in close touch with your children in the event that they need you. You can relax and enjoy yourself, when you know your child is receiving excellent care and having a terrific time playing at The Playground. PLAYGROUND ACTIVITIES We provide a variety of fun activities in which the children can participate. We have free video games, a ball pit, a mountain and slide, a video movie room, a kitchen play area, a craft area, puzzles and games, and many fun toys. We offer structured activities throughout the day and the children enjoy the flexibility of choosing the activities in which they want to participate. CHECKING CHILDREN IN AND OUT Parents must check in at the registration desk each day. Playground requires that each child be able to play independently and without extra assistance by the staff. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin or sex. Paren's are encouraged to discuss their child's individual needs with our staff. When picking up your children they will be released only to the person noted on the check in card or authorized persons on the registration form. We must be notified in the event a different person will be picking up your child. The charges for each visit are calculated to the nearest minute with a one hour minimum charge. MEALS AND SNACKS Each morning, afternoon and evening a nutritious snack and beverage will be available. If your child is going to be here over meal time a bag lunch or dinner may be provided by you. The meal must provide one third of the Childs daily food requirements including a protein sandwich, a fruit, a vegetable, and milk. Catered meals are available. Catered meals must be ordered by 10:30 am for lunch and by 4:00 pm for dinner. Chewing gum and excessive sweets are not allowed.
