PERSONAL BELONGINGS <br />Your child should be comfortably dressed for play and activity.: A11 <br />personal belongings and clothing should be clearly marked with first <br />and last names. Playground does not take responsibility for personal <br />property at the center. We ask that your child not take his or her <br />personal toys to the center. Items left at the.center will be stored <br />in a lost and found box and disposed of after thirty days.. <br />We understand that many young children are not fully toilet trained <br />If your child is in this category, please bring all necessary supplies <br />such as disposable diapers, training pants, etc. as well as an <br />additional change of clothing. Please let our staff know if you would`. <br />like your child changed or given toilet training encouragement. There <br />is a charge for diapers supplied by The Playground. <br />HEALTH POLICY <br />We will take every precaution to safeguard your child against <br />illness. We do request parents' cooperation in not asking us to 'care <br />for your children when they are sick. Please do not take your child to <br />The Playground with a cold, sore.throat, rash, cough or diarrhea.' Do' <br />not take a child who has had a fever or has vomited in the past 24 <br />hours. If any child or staff person contacts any infectious disease <br />all parents of exposed children will be notified. <br />If a child becomes sick during the course of the day, the. child will <br />be separated from the others (within eyesight and hearing of the <br />teacher) and the parent will be contacted to pick up the child. In the <br />event of an emergency the child will be taken to Now Care Medical <br />Center and if necessary to the nearest hospital. Parents must sign the <br />medical emergency release on our registration form. A thorough record <br />will be kept of any accidents and entered into our accident log. <br />The State of Minnesota requires that a health care summary and a <br />record of your child's immunization from your doctor be submitted <br />within 30 days. No medication can be given without signed, written <br />instructions from the child's doctor and written permiEsion from the <br />parent. <br />DISCIPLINE <br />Children will be expected to handle themselves in a socially <br />acceptable manner. When behavior warrants corection it will be given <br />through verbal guidance and a short time out from their activity. It <br />is very important for your child's safety that they follow all our <br />rules. <br />INSURANCE <br />The Playground has a general liability policy with Scottsdale <br />Insurance Company of Scottsdale, Arizona. <br />
