0 <br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION Page#10 <br />Wednesday, March 1, 1989 <br />Goedeke added that the Central Park Committee has considered <br />possibility of a pool at some future date. <br />Cheryl Bumpstead-Johnson, from the Park and Rec Commission stated <br />the Park and Rec Commission have given unanimous support to ,the <br />referendum and put in alot of time and research in developingthe <br />proposed referendum. Bumpstead--Johnson added that the iming may <br />not be best but there is alot of interest in the referendum. <br />DeBenedet pointed out that it would be important that the <br />insure that <br />facility design meet all City ordinance standards <br />no double standard is being applied in the Community. Bierschied <br />ct is considering all City standards in <br />replied that the archite <br />designing the facility. <br />Review and recommendation considering a five year capital <br />improvement plan. <br />Presentation <br />Ed Burrell gave an overview of the draft five year capital <br />improvement plan highlighting items which affected the <br />comprehensive plan. <br />to be <br />Stokes questioned why several items wh inpethea capital <br />operating and expenditures were included <br />improvement plan. Burrell replied that they iwere <br />e the incl ded <br />because they have been traditionally includedcapital <br />improvement plan. <br />Stokes pointed out that the schools complain that tax increment <br />fects them and has that to n their many careast financing adversely ef <br />financial problems. Burrell and responded <br />tax increment financing <br />existing values are droppingthe future. <br />assures increased taxes <br />Johnson read the sample resolution which should be passed.
