Variance is requested from the following section of the <br />city Code: Sect 82.080 which limits driveway end width t.o 2S <br />feet <br />B. State exactly what is intended to be done on or with the <br />property which does not conform with the City Code: Allow cur_ rent <br />31-1 2 foot width of the driveway to remain after Qiurrent <br />upgrading,,of streets with curbs and street surfacing rather than <br />reducing the width to code or installing a 5 foot curb on the end <br />of the unpaved area between the two driveway harts in effect <br />creating two driveways. This would be more expensive to^install <br />and more difficult for snowplow operators._ <br />18. Applicants requesting a rezoning, special use: permit, <br />variance, division of lot, or platting of property are encouraged <br />to conduct a neighborhood meeting at least fifteen (15) days <br />before the scheduled Planning Commission Public Hearing, and <br />shall send notices to all of the affected property owners. <br />Affected owners are those listed on the required Abstractor's <br />Certificate. The meeting shall Ue a time for the applicant to <br />review and explain the proposed development to the owners. <br />This policy applies only when residential property, R-1 through <br />R-8, is listed on the Abstractor's Certificate. This policy does <br />not apply to property proposed for development which is zoned R-1 <br />and will be or continue to be used for single family housing. <br />Please indicate the date that you have met or will be meeting <br />with the affected property owners: ° <br />Information to be submitted for all applications except minor <br />Variance: <br />A. Application and fee. <br />B. Abstractors certificate listing the NAMES AND ADDRESSES ON <br />LABELS of their owners of the land within 500 feet of the <br />boundaries of the property in question as those names appear on <br />the .records of the Ramsey County Auditor. Hearing notices will be <br />mailed to listed property owners. <br />C. Proposed Plan (1 Copy). <br />D. 8 1/2 x 11 reductions of the proposed plan (26 copies). <br />E.
