1. I would need to remove a 9 x 12 foot storage shed which <br />is presently used all the time. <br />2. 1 have a 16 foot fishing boat, and the only non -obtrusive <br />storage area is in the North-West corner of the lot. If the <br />garage were to be located there, there is no way of getting <br />the boat in the back yard because of a steep hill on the <br />East silo- of the property. <br />3. The drive way would be over 100 feet long, and have <br />approx. a 20 degree incline, and would not match with the <br />existing flat drive way. My wife has arthritis and can not <br />operate a snow blower. In my absence the snowremoval would <br />be impossible. <br />4. My neighbor has no objection to the proposed location in <br />front of the house, but be would object to the garage being <br />located less then 10 feet from the property line. Although I <br />legally may possibly locate the garage 5 feet from the <br />property line, (which i had to do in order to locate it in <br />the North-West corner) I am not eager to offend the <br />neighbor. Particularity when an option exists to which he <br />does not object. <br />5. My property has a very small back Yard due to the steep <br />hill on the north side. If the garage were located in the <br />North-West corner, the back yard besides being cluttered <br />would practically disappear. <br />The proposed location in front of the house will <br />substantially improve the appearance of the house, and will <br />in no way interfere with traffic or safety.
