We are "testing the market" <br />by proposing to rezone about 10% of our office/warehouse <br />building to an office/retail use. <br />We have signed a contingent lease with a wallcovering store <br />for 6,000 square feet, and we are looking for another retail <br />business to lease the additional 3,,000 square feet of the <br />space we propose to rezone. <br />Because the conversion from warehouse to retail contains a <br />fair amount of risk we are hesistant to give away our property <br />for an easement, plus incur additional costs and time delays. <br />I ask that our rezoning request be approved without the easement <br />condition. <br />Should the conversion of this building prove viable, we will <br />be requesting additional rezoning.
