all
April 6, 1988
TO: Jim Andre
FROM: Bob Bierscheid
RE: Review of Lexington School Proposal by Parks and Recreation Board ;
At the Parks and Recreation meeting of Monday, April 4, the Board went on record
as opposing the current proposal for a park developed by the owner of the property.
The Board stated that they, oppose the Tatest plan because it is insufficient,
unmai'ntainable, provides limited community access and is not in the best interest
of the overall City of Roseville. The preferred plan is the one that was presented
in January of 1988.
Tim Daulton moved and Barb Mastel seconded that should the City accept the overall
development plan for this parcel which includes the present park proposal, the
Board recommends to the City Council that they stipulate that the required park
dedication be.aiven in money rather than in land.
Motion was unanimously approved.
cc: Craig Waldron
