MEMORANDUM
DATE: 7 April 1988
TO: City Council, Plar ping Commission & Staff, City of Roseville
FROM: Howard Dahlgren, Dahlgren, Shardlow, and Uban, Inc.
RE: Land Use of Arthur Schuster Property
The multi -colored map of the Land Use Plan of the City of Roseville contained in the
"Comprehensive Plan Brochure" shows the Arthur Schuster land colored yellow, indicating
the land use category to be "LR", Low Density Residential. Printed on the map near
the property, however, are the initials "HR".
We have checked the officially adopted Land Use Plan which is a 17 x 22 black and
white fold out map bound in the planning document labeled "PART 11 LAND USE
PLAN", City of Roseville Comprehensive Plan. This map is the officially adopted plan
of the City of Roseville.
Enclosed is a reduced copy of that plan, and you will notice that the Arthur Schuster
land (southwest shore of Lake Owasso) is indicated as "HR", High Density Residential,
and thus is the officially designated land use for that property.
We are sorry that this error in printing occurred and that our planning report did not
reflect this difference in the two published maps. In the future, we will include a copy
of that portion of the Comprehensive Plan map indicating the "subject property" in each
of our planning reports so as to avoid the possibility of any discrepancy.
4
