(See enclosure).
Our engineer has staked the existing curb line and the limits of the
proposed 8' sidewalk. In doing so, three issues arose:
1. A telephone junction box is located within the walk and is
not to be moved.
2. The southerly edge of the proposed sidewalk is 2 feet higher
than the County Road B R.O. W. curb.
3. The southerly edge of the proposed sidewalk falls directly
on the line of existing trees.
Per our discussion, we can solve or mitigate all three issues by moving
the new Target curb three feet to the north. This will allow:
1. Clearance at the phone junction box.
2. Proposed sidewalk to be more on level grade.
3. Saving of existing mature trees.
The interior parking lot drive serving the head -in spaces is now 25'
in widith. We will leave the spaces at 9' wide but striped to a depth
of 151. The spaces will still accept full width and length cars (2'
overhang). If you so desire, we will designate "Compact cars" .
the pavement in order to encourage smaller cars to park there.
Sincerely,
Arrest E.
