w <br />City of Roseville, Case No. 1825 <br />This use was added to the ordinance at the time of Union <br />Carbide's development in Roseville. That land is now zoned <br />as an exclusive office/hotel/restaurant zone, therefore, the <br />Union Carbide operation is nonconforming by that action. <br />Therefore, the elimination of this use as a special use in <br />I-1 District will not have an effect on their operation. <br />To our knowledge, this is the only operation to which this <br />section is applicable. It is deemed prudent, therefore, to <br />remove this section so as to eliminate the possibility of <br />further, potentially hazardous chemical operations that <br />might prove to be a health or environmental concern. <br />5. Attached is a copy of the special use sections as they exist <br />for both the I-1 and I-2 Districts. <br />
