Waldron <br />• <br />RE: School District Request to Move All Temporary Buildings to <br />West Classroom Wing <br />Attached is a letter from Paul Borg requesting City approval to modify the <br />location of the School District's temporary buildings to the high school. The <br />State building code section has stated that these buildings will have to be <br />treated as permanent additions, thus they must be connected by a corridor to <br />the permanent building and meet all fire codes, etc. By moving all of the <br />buildings to the West, the School District need only construct one such corridor. <br />I have reviewed this modification with the Fire Marshal and Building Inspection <br />staff. Both are supportive of the proposal. <br />In light of the fact that the City on 4-27-87 has approved temporary buildings <br />at the site for a two year time period, it would be my recommendation that this <br />request be handled administratively and subsequently approved. <br />Please advise. <br />CAW:aw <br />Attach. <br />
