0 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 0AHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 23rd day of March, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. SUPPORTING SCHOOL DISTRICT 623 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT WHEREAS, School District 623 wants to refurbish and improve Fairview Center; and, WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant funds are available through Ramsey County, for such purposes; and, WHEREAS, School District 623 is requesting funds to eliminate an urgent health and safety threat relating to the removal of the existing asbestos in the building; and, WHEREAS, School District 623's proposal will have significant impact on low and moderate income persons as a result of the expEnsion of the Seniors' and other related programs at Fairview; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville is suppor- tive of School District 623's Community Development Block Grant request, and respectfully urges its funding. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
