June 11, 1987 <br />Requests of Har Mar from Belmont Lane Residents: <br />Trash Storage and Removal: <br />Provide central inside trash compactor located at the North end <br />or West side of the North end of the existing Har Mar. Noise from trucks <br />removing the trash compactor will then be directed toward the existing <br />commercial areas across Snelling Ave. or across County Road B. This is <br />more sanitary and notbe subject to trash blowing around when dumping <br />the present type trash containers. <br />Snow Removal: <br />No dumping of snow in parking lot allowed. Use quieter snow plows. <br />Present equipment used is very noisy unmufflered. <br />East Wall of Addition: <br />Do not allow unloading doors on the east wall. Provide blank wall <br />except doors required for Fire -fighii o_ Provide inside service corridor <br />and inside truck unloading accessible from the north or south. Trucks to be <br />entirely within the building and overhead door closed. Do not allow trucks <br />parking in the lot overnight with engine running. <br />Traffic along East Fence: <br />Present street curb is approximately four feet from the fence. A wider <br />boulevard should be provided west of the present fence of 10 foot minimum, <br />for a better vision of pedestrians by vehicle oporators and vice versa. <br />Fence to remain at present location. Speed bumps should be provided to <br />assure 10 MPH maxmaximum speed between building andfance. <br />Do not allow restaurants or fast food establishments in the additio_.. <br />There are too many odor producing businesses In the area now. <br />Lighting: <br />Provide lighting standards along fence line aimed toward the building <br />and the street to prevent loitering. <br />Fenoi Mosing: <br />It is requested that the Belmont Lane entrance gate tomâ–º classed. <br />It is a dangerous situation for cyclist and pedestrians. Even with <br />adjustments to the fence this situation remains. With the proposed <br />building this entrance will no longer provide direct access to the <br />parking lot. <br />
