Waldron
Director of Economic Development
City of Roseville
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, Minnesota 55113
Re: Har-Mar Expansion
Dear Craig:
Per your letter of July 17, 1987,tRoseville
request forSpecial Council, at its July 135 1987 meeting, approved
Har
Use Permit and Variances for the planned expansion at Har-Mar Mall,
2100 North Snelling Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota. It is my understanding
that this approval is conditioned upon construction commencing within
a six month period from the approval date.
To -date, we have accomplished the following towards this expansion:
1. All final architectural plans and working drawings
have been completed.
2. A general contractor has been selected.
3. Bids have been obtained from the general contractor
and sub -contractors.
At this time, it does not appear that actual construction will
commence within the six month time allotment for the following reasons:
1- The final lease negotiations and drafting of the
legal documents with Highland Super Stores and TJ
Maxx took longer than originally anticipated. The
leases are now completed and are in the final legal
review process. We anticipate these will be signed
in the very near future.
