Center, Roseville, Minnesota <br />Dear Mr. Backus: <br />During our recently completed subsurface exploration at the <br />above -referenced project, faint chemical odors were noted in <br />samples particularly from boring 2. A sample of the soil <br />from this location was submitted to an analytical laboratory <br />for testing. The results of these tests have been reported <br />to STS and received on November. 5, 1986. The soil sample was <br />tested for benzene, toluene, xylene, trichloroethylene and <br />methyl ethyl ketone, which are constituents of gasoline, <br />diesel Euel, and cleaning solvents typically associated with <br />auto repair or gas stations.
