Group W Cable currently <br />occupies the f firmer Lai{.e Owassc-1 Elementary school at this <br />1 ocat i can. <br />Since May 11, 1983 Group W Cable has utilized this facility <br />t� � serve cable subscribers in the north suburban area, as catr <br />District Headquarters and a modest warehouse facility. This use <br />has been consistent with the special use permit granted by the <br />city. <br />In the special use permit granted in May 1983 several <br />conditions were established. All of the conditions have been <br />complied with in accordance with this special use permit. <br />Condition 7 of the special use permit reads as fl:lllaws: <br />If additional parking is required, as demonstrated by <br />excessive atse of on -street parking, Group W will <br />re are plans for- such parking to be processed under <br />p p <br />special use permit procedures. <br />.1 <br />It is a combination of factors including this condition that <br />trigger- our request for- this current special use permit. <br />The current parking r..onfi-ga4ratiori allows for 10. -, <br />visitor/handicapped spaces, ; 96 employee spaces. and�6 technical <br />/installation vehicle spaces for a total of�13`''pexking spaces. <br />Our experience shows that we have an overflow of technical <br />vehicles from the fenced enclosure to the area designated for <br />moic-1yee parking. In addition, we will be adding approximately <br />(30) Cust tinier Service related employees to the Roseville site. <br />Oatr^ proposal calls for the addition of 32 employee parking <br />spaces to the east of the building. We also propose to expand <br />the fenced area reserved for i_iur technical/installation vehicles <br />by 9 spaces. Thru this expansion we propose to fence in the <br />exhist ing loading deck area and ar, area for- our^ trash dumpster. <br />
