JOHNSON SUPPLY ADDITION <br />ROSEVILLE, MN <br />COMM. NO. 86-01-3020-01 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />J. R. Johnson Supply is a wholesale supplier of floral and landscape products <br />for retail outlets. The company has be;:n located on Long Lake Road for 14 <br />years taking over a structure originally built as a precast concrete <br />manufacturing plant. Growth has occurred over the years with expansion taking <br />place as required. A greenhouse, warehouse space, and a plastics manufacturing <br />facility have been added to the original building creating a variety of <br />architectural expressions in addition to the original concrete building. <br />PROGRAM <br />J. R. Johnson plans to undertake a complete modernization of their facility <br />replacing outdated greenhouses and storage_.facilities. This renovation of the <br />existing facility will provide a unified architectural appearance for the <br />entire structure and update the site and landscaping to the current city <br />standards. This work will be accomplished in a three phase program that is <br />outlined below: <br />Phase 1 - 1986 - 1987 <br />A. Site Work <br />1. Redesign of the parking lot and service area. All driving surfaces <br />will be upgraded with curbing and pavement. <br />2. Site utilities and drainage will be upgraded to current standards. <br />3. Relandscaping of the entire site to current standards. <br />4. Painting of the existing floral and plastic manufacturing building. <br />
