Variance from the 151 set back require- <br />ment for par 'ng ev xh cles along the side <br />yard whic'lx parallels the proposed public <br />street. In' granting the city engineer the <br />requested 50 feet for -access --to the wester- <br />ly property the land parcel was reduced in <br />its ability to accomodate parking. This <br />variance dvoul.d allow the parking plan to <br />support the necessary seating requirements <br />to helms assure success of the project. <br />2. Special use permit for take out foods. The <br />project encompasses an Italian Deli which <br />merchandizes Lido ' s own preparations .of <br />various foodstuffs: Frozen, ambient, and <br />hot prepared foods will be available under <br />the business plan. This is a_raatural ex- <br />tension of the business which .ha.s been de- <br />veloped over the past 29 years.-- <br />3- Special use for entertainment. Although not <br />currently planned we would like to be granted_ <br />the pri.vl_edge. of providing soft live music. <br />.which would enhance the image -of the dining <br />_experience.
