Commissioners Bell, Gilles, <br />Franke, Graul, Simrmerman Membrez and Soike together with Msar. Soutter and Dahlgren <br />were present. <br />BLUMBERG REZONM (Im6-60B) <br />Howard Dahlgren reported that he had not completed his study of the traffic density of <br />the area. Wrssr. Dahlgren and Soutter plan to have this matter completed within two <br />' weeks. Further time was requested to complete this study. Dr. Blumberg had indicated <br />that additional time would not inconvenionce him. <br />10 t1b. <br />Conrad Schietz., 203 Simpson stated his objections `•o R-3 for this area, and Glen <br />Johnson, 1535 W. Co. Rd. 82 submitted a petition of 30 people within 250 ft. of the <br />' and another petition of 79 people beyond 250 ft. of the <br />I 'm AroP�`{+y pe property who objected <br />,.,,to the proposed zoning. A. Bucto, 1561 Tel. Co. Rd. B2 stated concern over the increased <br />traffic generated by apartments; ho alao expressed concern over the proposed erection <br />of apartments on the land that is currently held an a water easement in the event that <br />Zimmerman sake were lovemd. It-. Buetow stated that the residents wanted the lake to <br />ry, remain at the current lar+el. <br />' [Moved by Simmrnman, seconded by Soiko that action on this matter be tabled until March 2 <br />4 to permit further stud. Motion paaaed. <br />ICRO33S CONSWCTSON COMPANY, REZONING REQUEST (2-»3-6m) <br />} W, John Daubney, attorney for the applicant appeared to request that this application <br />.be taken up at the earliest conveniences. B stated that the old BrimhaU School will no longer be <br />available for a music school after Jt3,v 3, 9960. He requested that he be permitted to <br />construct a combination mwio school and dweJ. xg at Co. Rd. B and vidlothian Rd. in <br />an R7,1 none. Mr. Dahlgren pointed o°ut article 5.1-1 of the zoning ordinance No. 275 <br />eh defined an acceptable ama c school in a residential district as one which permitted <br />one pupil at a time. For the large suceossful type of school that Mr. Rymer currently <br />oys, a B-1 zoning would be) required. <br />NLADDIN HOMMITES NO. 3 PRELIMINARY FLAT (2--3-6aS) <br />,..No one appeased to support this action. Planning report 29-2 pointed out that the Iota <br />,. were slightly sub -standard and s drainrago problem existed. Franke moved, Soik a seconded <br />that the petition be denied; motion carried. The objections wall be overcome if the <br />dereloper vill (1) inereaso the wasterly row of lots to 86 ft. widths to meet the minimum <br />required lot area and (2) grant an easement for drainage rather than a dedication. <br />
