The- Planning Commission at its October 6th meeting unanimously recommended approval of Donald :Re'gan-'s request for special use permit at 1743 County.Road C, with the following conditions: 1) What all improvements outlined in the application are accomplished in accordance :with the statements and site plan dated September 8, 1982. 2)' That new concrete curb and gutter be installed in accordance with ordinance require- 4, ments, where parking areas are expanded. 3) That parking areas be set back from the public right-of-way in accordance with current ordinance require ents. 4) That the final landscaping plan be approved by the City Planner. 5) That the applicant meet with the City staff to develop a suggested drainage plan to serve the parking area for the six parking spaces prior to the Council public hearing. In accord with Condition No. 5, the Assistant City Engineer has net with the applicant regarding the drainage for the 6 parking spaces located in front of the small building in the southwestern corner of the property. The applicant made no commitment to constructing the catch basin and underground piping to take the water from the parking area to County Ditch=No. 4. He was going to review the matter with the Rice Creek Watershed District, and -would, hopefully, have something available for the Council at the meeting. Attached is the Planner's report. Council Action Requested: Motion approving/denying Donald Regan's (St. Paul and Suburban Bus Company) request for special use permit for the storage and maintenance of buses at 1743 County Road C (with conditions, if desired).
