City of Roseville <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1665 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br /> TITLE 7, SECTION 703 <br /> AMENDING TITLE 7, SECTION 703.05 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE TO <br /> OUTLINE LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR COURTESY BENCHES <br /> THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1: Title 7, Section 703.05 of the Roseville City Code is amended and <br /> renumbered to read as follows: <br /> 703.05: COURTESY BENCHES: <br /> No Courtesy bBench may be placed or maintained in a public right-of-way without securing a <br /> permit license from the Public Works Director and which includes the payment of a an annual two- <br /> year license fee as established in Section 314.05. The number, size, and locations of all benches <br /> shall be in accordance with the City of Roseville/Metro Transit bus route plan or be adjacent to a <br /> city pathway The Public Works and Transportation Commission will review the annual site <br /> application for input regarding the siting application. A and permit shall not be issued unless the <br /> bench and its placement comply in compliance with the following conditions: (Ord. 1379A, 11 <br /> 17 2008) <br /> A. Courtesy Bench means any bench on public property for purposes of providing a location <br /> for people to wait or rest. A separate license is required for each Courtesy Bench at each <br /> location. <br /> B. License Term and fees: The term for all licenses shall be two years. Fees for the license <br /> will be defined in the city fee schedule. <br /> C. License Renewal: At least 60 days prior to the expiration of license, lessee may make <br /> application of renewal for another licensed term. Failure to make application prior to the <br /> expiration of the license term will result in a late fee. <br /> D. Change of ownership: If a courtesy bench owned or controlled by a current licensee is sold <br /> or control is transferred, the owner or controller must apply for a new license within thirty <br /> (30) days of sale or transfer and must go through the new license application process. <br /> • <br /> 1ybepin e7atn1. + 41l L 7 ti <br /> r � <br /> 1 <br />
