ЊЉВ D.Background Investigation.Applications shall include a review by the City ЊЊЉ Manager or their designee, the Police Department,or other qualified service ЊЊЊ providers who willconduct and completecriminal background checks of all ЊЊЋ applicants and Interested Persons. The City will notify the applicant if any ЊЊЌ Interested Person is not approved. Applicant will determine whether to ЊЊЍ amend the application to not include the Interested Person orwithdraw the ЊЊЎ application. Rejection of an Interested Person will result in license denial. ЊЊЏ The City, in its sole discretion,mayalso conduct background checkson an ЊЊА application for a renewal of a license. ЊЊБ E.Inspection of Building. No license may be issued unless the premises, which ЊЊВ includes the building, parking lot, and surrounding property, for which the ЊЋЉ application has been submitted is in full compliance with all relevant health ЊЋЊ and safety codes including but not limited to the Minnesota State Building ЊЋЋ Code, the Minnesota State Fire Code, and the Roseville City Codes.Upon ЊЋЌ renewal, inspections shall occur atthe frequency required byCity policy. ЊЋЍ F.Imposition of Reasonable Conditions.When there exists a reasonable basis ЊЋЎ to impose reasonable conditions upon a license applied for, issued, or held ЊЋЏ under this chapter, any one (1) or more such reasonable conditions may be ЊЋА imposed upon such license for the purpose of promoting public health, ЊЋБ safety and welfare, of advancing the public peace and the elimination of ЊЋВ conditions or actions that constitute a nuisance or a detriment to the ЊЌЉ peaceful enjoyment of urban life, or promoting security and safety in nearby ЊЌЊ neighborhoods.License conditions may also be added to memorialize the ЊЌЋ conditions under which the City will allow a waiver of a specific ЊЌЌ requirement of this Chapter for a specific Lodging Establishment ЊЌЍ G.Timing of Imposition and Removal of License Conditions.TheCity may ЊЌЎ impose such conditions on a licenseat the time of application, at any time ЊЌЏ with the consent of the license holder, or in addition to penalties imposed ЊЌА under this chapter as part of an action against the license or licenses. ЊЌБ Conditions imposed on a license or licenses shall remain on such licenses ЊЌВ when renewed and shall continue thereafter until removed by theCity ЊЍЉ Council. ЊЍЊ H.Extended Stay Permit. As a part of an application for a lodging license under ЊЍЋ this article, the applicant may also apply for the right to offer extended stay ЊЍЌ lodging as defined herein in all or portions of the Licensed Premises.
