Over time, all <br />steps on the rubber surface (with skates or shoes) causes the rubber to wear down. We have been <br />replacing pieces of the current rubber every year due to it wearing through to the concrete. <br />Replacing pieces as needed is difficult due to the nature of the facility and foot traffic, it is not <br />aesthetically pleasing as the look of the new rubber doesn’t match.
