Excerpt from <br />Roseville Public Works, Environment <br /> and Transportation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br />1.Introduction / Roll Call <br />Chair Ficek called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p.m. and at his <br />request, Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer called the roll. <br />Present: Chair Bryant Ficek; Vice Chair Des Mueller; and Members Jarrod <br />Cicha, Daniel Fergus, Edwin Hodder, Allison Luongo, and Sarah <br />Rudolf <br />Absent: None. <br />Staff Present: Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer; and Assistant <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Jennifer Lowry <br />6.Public Works Code Updates <br />Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer explained City staff has been reviewing <br />ordinances and has a variety of public works related updates. He asked for <br />discussion and feedback to give to the City Council. <br />Fats Oils Grease (FOG) 802.15 <br />Ms. Lowry reviewed the Fats Oils Grease (FOG) Ordinance with the Commission. <br />Member Luongo asked if there are fines if there is a certain amount of suspended <br />solids if found in an inspection. <br />Ms. Lowry explained there are only two fines; she thought one was one hundred <br />dollars and the other was one thousand dollars per instance in the fee schedule and <br />these are not based on the amount. However, if there is a backup in the City’s <br />system and the City does the repairs or cleans up the spill then the City charges the <br />business for that work.
