<br />Disclaimer <br />The specifications do not constitute a contract. The City and the approved Contractor shall <br />execute a formal contract upon award. <br />1. INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />These specifications define the requirements of operating a Clean Up Day for the City of <br />Roseville. A Clean Up Day being defined as a City-initiated event where residents may <br />dispose of unwanted materials from their homes and yards while maximizing reuse and <br />recycling for as many materials as possible. <br /> <br />The City seeks to enter into a three-year contract with a company that has the resources <br />and ability to provide Clean Up Day service for the City. <br /> <br />It is the intent of the City of Roseville to accept and evaluate quotes for Clean Up Day <br />services including collection of material delivered by residents, separation of material <br />into appropriate shipping containers, and delivery of that material to approved recycling <br />or disposal facilities. The goals of the City are to maximize the efficient collection of <br />material, maximize the reuse and recycling for as many materials as possible, and to <br />achieve the most cost-effective solution. <br /> <br />The City encourages Contractors to submit their best quote possible. The requirements <br />within the specifications may be altered by the City. <br /> <br />The Clean Up Day will be held at the Dale Street Soccer Fields parking lot 2555 N. Dale <br />Street in Roseville unless the City of Roseville designates a different sight. A general <br />layout is provided as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />The Clean Up Day will be held on the fourth Saturday in April each year of the contract <br />(April 27, 2024, April 26, 2025, and April 25, 2026). <br /> <br />2.
