Attachment 3 39 D.Owner: A person, agent, firm, or corporation having a legal or equitable interest 40 in the property. In any corporation or partnership, the term owner includes 41 general partners and corporate officers. 42 E.Person: Includes individual, as well as, business entities, whether one or more. 43 F.Rent: Includes money or services in exchange for occupation of the unit. 44 G.Short-Term Rental: A non-owner-occupied dwelling unit rented for a period of 45 thirty (30) consecutive days or less. Rentals less than may not be made more 46 often than one every seven (7) consecutive days are prohibited between October 47 1st and May 1st and rentals less than may not be made more often than one 48 every ten (10) consecutive days are prohibited between May 1st and October 49 1st. The use of recreational vehicles, campers or other similar vehicles as rentals 50 shall be prohibited. Short-term rental periods of up to from eight (8) to thirty 51(30) consecutive days require a license under this Chapter. Rental periods for 52 more than for thirty (30) days require one of the following: registration as a 53 rental property under City Code Chapter 907; or a Rental License under City 54 Code Chapter 908. 55 H.Unit: All or a portion of a residential property that is arranged, designed, used, 56 or intended to be used as separate living quarters and which is leased to an 57 individual or group. (Ord 1596, 2-8-2021) 58 SECTION 2: Title 9 Section 909.03 of the Roseville City Code is amended to 59 read as follows: 60 61 909.03: LICENSE REQUIRED: 62 63 A.It shall be unlawful for any person to hereafter occupy, allow to be 64 occupied, or let to another person for occupancy any residential property 65 within the City for which an application for without a short-term rental 66 license has not been properly made and filed with issued by the City or 67 after the time that a license is suspended or revoked. Applications for 68 licensure shall be as required by Chapter 301 of City Code, and shall be 69 made upon forms furnished by the City for such purpose and shall 70 specifically require the following minimum information: 71 72 1.Name, street address, email and phone number of the property 73 owner. 74 75 2.The name, street address, email and phone number(s), of a local 76 agent authorized to make or order repairs or services for the 77 property, if in violation of City or State Codes, if the person is 78 different than the owner.
