Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 469.190, local lodging taxes shall be <br />122 collected on all rentals less than 30 days in length in accordance with Chapter <br />123 312 of the City Code. Payment must be made monthly to the City’s finance <br />124 department on forms provided by the City. <br />125 <br />126 C. Short-Term Rentals in violation of this ordinance may be subject to license <br />127 suspension or revocation and administrative fines, in addition to any other <br />128 fees or penalties per Section 909.10 or other applicable sections of City Code. <br />129(Ord 1596, 2-8-2021) <br />130 <br />131 SECTION 4: Title 9 Section 909.06 of the Roseville City Code is amended <br />132 to read as follows: <br />133 <br />134 909.06: MANNER OF LICENSURE: <br />135 <br />136 A. An owner who has an existing Short-Term Rental property as defined by this <br />137 Chapter that is licensed under the requirements of City Code Chapter 909, <br />138 may continue to operate until expiration of such license. Following the <br />139 effective date of this Chapter, no further licenses will be issued, no change <br />140 in occupancy type will be approved, and no transfer or renewal of license <br />141 will be permitted. <br />142 <br />143 A. An owner of a property that after the effective date of this Chapter wishes to <br />144 convert the property into a Short-Term Rental property, shall apply for and <br />145 license the property prior to its conversion. <br />146 <br />147 B. If there is a change in the type of occupancy from the type stated on the <br />148 license form, an amended license form shall be filed within 30 days of the <br />149 change. <br />150 <br />151 C. When a previously licensed property is sold, the new owner, if continuing to <br />152 offer Short-Term Rental, shall apply for a license within 30 days of the sale <br />153 and may not allow occupancy as a short term rental until a license has been <br />154 obtained. <br />155 <br />156 D. Valid Short-term rental license holders shall not be required to register said <br />157 rental per Chapter 907 if they enter into rental lease periods in excess of thirty <br />158(30) consecutive days. <br />159 <br />160 E. The City Manager may administratively deny a license under this Chapter if <br />161 the property has been issued fines for repeat nuisance violations per City <br />162 Code Section 511. <br />163 <br />Qbhf!38!pg!614 <br /> <br />
