XX 3 4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 5 6 TITLE 3 SECTION 304 7 8 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3 OF SECTION 304 ENTITLED 9 LAWFUL GAMBLING TO REGULATE THE NUMBER OF PREMISES 10 PERMITS THAT MAY BE HELD BY ONE ORGANIZATION AND TO 11 UPDATE LANGUAGE IN GENERAL 12 13 THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: 14 15 SECTION 1: Title 3, Section 304 of the Roseville City Code is amended to 16 read as follows: 17 18 304.01: LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMITTED: 19 20 Lawful gambling as regulated in is subject to the terms, provisions, and regulations 21 contained in Minnesota Statutes Chapter 349, as may be amended from time to time, 22 and is permitted in the city if the provided that any organization conducting such 23 activities meets the following criteria: 24 25 A.Holds a license issued Is licensed by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board; 26 or is excepted from such licensing requirement by Minnesota Statutes 27 Chapter 349. 28 29 B.Complies with all the provisions of this Chapter. 30 31 304.02: NUMBER OF LICENSES AND PREMISES PERMITS: 32 33 A.No organization licensed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 349 may 34 conduct lawful gambling at any more than three locations within the city 35 without a premises permit. 36 37 B.The number of premises permits for an individual organization may not 38 exceed fifty (50) percent of the then-total number of premises permits issued 39 by the city (the “Fifty Percent Threshold”). No new premises permit will be 40 issued to an organization that already exceeds the Fifty Percent Threshold or 41 that will cause such organization to exceed the Fifty Percent Threshold.
