VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular meethlg of the Village Council TuesWv, June 19, 1956 2::00 p.m. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present. Salverda, Carlson, Kitts" Hammersten and McGee. Engineer Ed Bather, and Attorney Robert Gearin were also present. Carlson Moved, Hammersten Seconded the minutes of the June $, Council meeting öe approved as corrected. Roll CaJ.J. Ayes (5)-Nayes CO). The minutes of the June 12, Council meeting were held over as there had not been time to read th~ Vincent Courtney appeared in behalf' of O. J. Husby and Sons regarding the opening and improving ot streets: in Nørthview Addition. The streets 1& question are mentioned in a letter and petition previous~ filed in the Village office. McGee Moved, Carlson Seconded the matter be referred to the Attorney and Engineer to check the {>ropertl and easements in question, and report at the next regular council meet1ng. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). Alex: Janes t Jr. appeared in behalf of Roberts Constru.ction Co. regardiDg the rezoning or RoberU: Plat. Hammersten Moved, Salverda Seconded the matter be postponed until the Village Land Use Map from the Village Planner which is expeoted approximately JuJ..y2J¡, 1956. Roll Call ~s (5)-Nayes (0). Machacek 1323 Oakcrest The Planning Commission reported in a letter to the Council that they have taken up the Don Wilson Plat tor the Midland View Addition. One of their recommendations was to secure the lot at the end ot Ski..llman, fronting on Rosewood Lane No. and use it tor a street. McGee Moved, Carlson Seconded Gearin and McGee be desi~ted to approach Adolphson and Pet,erson~ the owner of the 10tJ on the mat.t.er of securing the lot in question and report at the Juœ 20. Bertlee Homesi t4 St. Anthoq Plaza Plats: The Planning Commissi_ reported in a letter to 1be Council that they have taken up the Bertlee Homesites and St. Anthony Plaza Additions. The Plan- niM Commission will take up the matter again on July 2, 1956. The Clerk will notify Mr. Kroiss III d Mr. Haglund. ':he Planning Cœmnission reported in a Jl.etter to the Council that. they have Rezoning -'again taken up the request of Warren Brennan for the rezoning of the McGough property on Fa1rview Between County Road nc" and County Road ·C-2" froa f'am to industr:LaJ., contingent upon "two considerations mentioned in the letter. Mr. Brennæ spoke in behalf of the McGough Company. McGee Moved, Carlfon Seconded the matter bw postponed unt.il the Comprehensive Plan of t.he Village is received. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes CO). Mr. VanKrevlin of the State Highway Department presented the Sta:te's Pla.ns Resolution for repaving of T.H.280, T.H.36, and T.H.Sl. A resolution was read by the Clerk regarding the Connnissioner of Highways pnparation of plans and sp..- i.ticat10ns of the above listed highways.
