Roseville Public Works, Environment and Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />DATE: March 26, 2024 ITEM: 7.a. <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: Dale Street Safety Conversion Project Update <br />Background <br />At the March 11, 2024 City Council meeting (https://webstreaming.ctv15.org/viewer.php?streamid=6934), <br />Ramsey County staff gave a presentation to the City Council on the Dale Street Safety Project. Attachment <br />1 is the presentation they presented. <br />Overall, the project is a four -three lane conversion on Dale Street between Como Avenue in St Paul to <br />Lovell Avenue in Roseville. The project will occur sometime during this summer. As part of the project, the <br />County will be doing a mill and overlay to improve the pavement condition. They will also be updating the <br />signals at County Road B and all pedestrian ramps on the corridor. They plan to add three marked <br />crosswalks with pedestrian refuge islands on the corridor to enhance pedestrian safety.
