Attachment 1 <br />lei <br />Public Works Department <br />Memo <br />To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members <br />From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer <br />Date: April 19, 2024 <br />Re: Communications Items <br />The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last <br />commission meeting: <br />Roseville Public Works project updates: <br />o McCarron Retaining Wall Replacement <br />• The project was awarded to Veit & Company, Inc., on February 12, 2024. <br />o County Road B Reconstruction, west of Cleveland Avenue <br />• The project was awarded to GMH Asphalt. Once a schedule is received from the <br />contractor, a mailing will be sent to residents and a neighborhood meeting will be <br />scheduled. <br />o Long Lake Lift Station <br />• Construction began March 18 and is anticipated to be complete at the end of May. <br />o County Road B Reconstruction from Snelling Avenue to Lexington Avenue (Ramsey County) <br />• The County has begun construction, and city watermain replacement and Xcel gas <br />replacement work coordinated with the project will begin soon. Residents and <br />businesses impacted by temporary water connections or water shut offs will be <br />contacted. <br />0 2024 Sewer Lining Project <br />• The project was awarded to Hydro-Klean and work will begin once contract <br />documents are completed and the contractor provides a schedule of work. <br />0 2024 Pathways Project <br />• Project is currently in design and includes Lexington Avenue, between County Road <br />B and TH 36, the Wagner Street to Western Avenue cul-de-sac connection, and <br />Tamarack Park pathways shown in Attachment 2. The project will be bid later this <br />year and construction may expand into 2025. <br />o Hamlin Watermain Project <br />• Project is currently in design and includes upsizing of the watermain along Hamline <br />Avenue from Josephine Road into Arden Hills. The project will be bid later this year. <br />o Twin Lakes Trail Phase 2 <br />• Design is complete and bidding and tree removal later this year for construction next <br />year. <br />Page 10 of 69 <br />
