Attachment 1 lei Public Works Department Memo To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer Date: April 19, 2024 Re: Communications Items The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last commission meeting: Roseville Public Works project updates: o McCarron Retaining Wall Replacement • The project was awarded to Veit & Company, Inc., on February 12, 2024. o County Road B Reconstruction, west of Cleveland Avenue • The project was awarded to GMH Asphalt. Once a schedule is received from the contractor, a mailing will be sent to residents and a neighborhood meeting will be scheduled. o Long Lake Lift Station • Construction began March 18 and is anticipated to be complete at the end of May. o County Road B Reconstruction from Snelling Avenue to Lexington Avenue (Ramsey County) • The County has begun construction, and city watermain replacement and Xcel gas replacement work coordinated with the project will begin soon. Residents and businesses impacted by temporary water connections or water shut offs will be contacted. 0 2024 Sewer Lining Project • The project was awarded to Hydro-Klean and work will begin once contract documents are completed and the contractor provides a schedule of work. 0 2024 Pathways Project • Project is currently in design and includes Lexington Avenue, between County Road B and TH 36, the Wagner Street to Western Avenue cul-de-sac connection, and Tamarack Park pathways shown in Attachment 2. The project will be bid later this year and construction may expand into 2025. o Hamlin Watermain Project • Project is currently in design and includes upsizing of the watermain along Hamline Avenue from Josephine Road into Arden Hills. The project will be bid later this year. o Twin Lakes Trail Phase 2 • Design is complete and bidding and tree removal later this year for construction next year. Page 10 of 69
